# Contact Support

> Find an answer fast, or tell the Saphion team about a problem or an idea and follow what happens to it.

## Look for an answer first

In the app, open **Help & resources** at the bottom of the sidebar. The help panel lets you search guides and open them without leaving your work. These docs cover the same ground in more depth, and [FAQ](https://docs.saphion.co.uk/help/faq.md) answers the questions people ask most.

## Send Support & feedback

**1. Open Help & resources, then Support & feedback**

Sign in first. Saphion takes a picture of the page you were on before the window opens, so open it from the page where the problem is.

**2. Choose a type and say what happened**

Choose Bug, Feature request, Question or Other, write a short summary, and tell us what you were trying to do and what happened. Please leave out passwords and sensitive project information.

**3. Check the picture, add files if they help, and choose Send**

Remove the screenshot if it shows something private, or attach your own files. Saphion also sends the page, the record you had open, the release, your browser and any recent errors with your request. You can read them in the window but not change them.

## Follow your request

Choose **My requests** in the help panel to see everything you have raised, with its status: Received, Working on it, Stuck, Done (live in Saphion) or Not changing (the reply says why). We tell you when we have received your request, when we reply and when we finish it (Done or Not changing), by email unless you turn that off in Settings → Notifications → Support. A status changing on its own does not send anything. Open a request to read what the Saphion team has said about it. A number beside **Help & resources** means one of your requests has news. You cannot reply in the app; if we need more from you, we will contact you.

You can also email [support@saphion.co.uk](mailto:support@saphion.co.uk) directly. Use this if you cannot sign in.

## What helps us most

* What you were trying to do, and the steps just before the problem.
* The Project, record or place you were in, and roughly when it happened.
* The exact message you saw, and whether it happens every time.
* What you expected, and what happened instead.

Never send passwords, access keys or tokens in a message.
